Center for addiction and mental Health along with Co-design approached George brown College in the Fall of 2015 with a purpose of creating a digital platform for their emergency services for the youth from PEEL region (Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon) in the Greater Toronto Area.

I was involved during the research and conception of the project, which was later taken ahead, refined and developed.

During the research phase, I consulted available literature and conducted an applications review. I was also responsible for conducting contextual interviews with service providers, in the Peel region.
This included interviewing youth psychologists, school councillors and community centre service providers. ll interviews were then transcribed and useful insights were highlighted from the transcriptions.

Once we gathered all the insights, we organized workshops with youth going through mental health crisis,  and stepped into the conceptual phase of the project.
